Source Family photo exhibit, films and slideshow with Isis Aquarian at Powell's in Portland 7/2 and 7/8

The Source Family was the ultimate rock and roll utopian commune of the late sixties and early seventies. The group was founded by a charismatic leader—and some say powerful white magician—named Father Yod, who owned the wildly popular Source health food restaurant, had 13 “spiritual wives,” and fronted his own psych-rock band. In her book, The Source: The Untold Story of Father Yod, YaHoWha 13, and The Source Family, Isis Aquarian, Keeper of the Records and one of Father Yod’s wives, tells their fascinating story for the first time.
